Wir waren als Familie mit Kindern am 2.Weihnachtsfeiertag dort und trotz voller Belegung war der Service und das Essen super und sehr zu empfehlen. Auch sind Kinder sehr willkommen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gern wieder. ;)

Lass uns doch Mal zum Mittagessen in die Drina Stuben gehen, gesagt - getan. Überraschenderweise gab es eine Suppe vorweg, mit dem Kommentar vom Wirt: "was ist schon ein Essen ohne Suppe"? Er hat natürlich Recht und die Suppe schmeckte sehr sehr gut. Auch der kleine Salat vorweg, sah nicht nur lecker aus, so schmeckte er auch . Als Hauptgericht entschied ich mich für Satarasch, dass ich nicht kannte und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Hier gibt es eine grundehrliche Küche, wo noch mit Begeisterung gekocht wird und die Qualität absolut im Vordergrund steht. Schade dass das Restaurant etwas versteckt liegt, aber es gibt ausreichende Parkmöglichkeiten fast direkt vor der Tür. Hier werde ich noch öfters hinfahren, obwohl ich nicht unbedingt "um die Ecke" wohne, aber der Weg lohnt sich. Herzlichen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt in Ihrem Restaurant.

Found this little restaurant while spending the night in Braunschweig, Germany. Such a gem! Authentic German food in a cozy atmosphere. Great service, reasonable prices, excellent food. Just be sure to bring cash, not credit card.

Driving back from Hanover (Agritechnica 2025) towards Berlin, the whole day at the exhibition totally hungry! We wanted something authentic German, and were very lucky to pick this one! The owner was very nice gentleman serving us, and kitchen I suppose was the wife, amazing food, amazing service, amazing small town family friendly atmosphere! Food was cooked and served with a lot of love! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Rückfahrt von Hannover (Agritechnica 2025) in Richtung Berlin – den ganzen Tag auf der Messe, total hungrig! Wir wollten etwas wirklich Authentisches aus Deutschland und hatten großes Glück, dieses Restaurant zu wählen! Der Besitzer war ein sehr netter Herr, der uns bediente, und in der Küche war, wie ich vermute, seine Frau – großartiges Essen, großartiger Service, großartige, familienfreundliche Kleinstadtatmosphäre! Das Essen wurde mit viel Liebe gekocht und serviert! VIELEN DANK!
